Program:
1st day : Sofia – Volos – Skiathos island (by car and kayak)
The departure is in the morning (at 06:00) from Vasil Levski Stadium. Around 13.00 we will stop in Volos for lunch and shopping (we will need food and water supplies for two days). Around 15.00 we plan to be on the shore, opposite the island of Skiathos, where we will have about an hour to launch the boats, equip and brief. The cars will remain on the mainland, and we will load everything we need with us. After a two-hour hike on the water, we will reach a great beach, where we will make our first camp on the shore.
2nd day : Aselinos – town of Skiathos
Breakfast, coffee and preparation for new adventures. We continue with the kayaks along the impressive north coast, to the east. This part of the coast is rocky and very beautiful. You are about to recharge with pathetic natural views: beaches, rocks, caves...ideal for kayaking, diving and jumping. We will see: The old fortress of Castro, which was a strategic. Lalaria Beach is surrounded by cliffs. It is only available on water. This beach is spoken of as a paradise place and its photos are in all catalogs. Xanemos is located at the end of the airport runway and the planes fly over the heads of the beachgoers. In the afternoon we will set up a camp near the town of Skiathos. Anyone who wishes can go to the town, which is filled with taverns and cool atmosphere, beautiful panoramic views and history.
Kayaking for the day about 15 km. or 3 - 4 hours
Day 3: Skiathos – Skopelos
We will start early, because again we expect a rich program, beauties and a different environment. After breakfast we will pick up the camp, load the kayaks and head to the island of Skopelos. Our first holiday is in the port of Loutraki. Above it is the second largest settlement on the island - Glossa. A fascinating place with a characteristic spirit, where it is worth sending the sun with a glass in hand. We'll see him the next day. In Loutraki we will load in a great fishing tavern, on the beach. Before we get to the village of Neo Klima, we'll stop at Armenopetra Beach. Shortly after we leave there, we expect a tavern, a bathroom and a bed in a hospitable guest house.
Note: If the weather forecast is unfavorable, it is possible to have to transfer from Skiathos to Skopelos by ferry.
4th day : Skopelos – Skopelos
This day is called “rest.” Through it we stay in Neo Klima and we can kayak around or take a walk around the main town of Skopelos and visit the cult for “Mama Mia” church “Ag. Yannis.” For this purpose, we will rely on a bus or moped, car, bicycle rental. In the evening we can indulge in the great sunset, Uzaki, tzatziki and ... fresh fish. We stay in our guest house.
Day 5: Skopelos by water.
During this day we will tour the coast of Skopelos with the kayaks to see some of the best beaches on the island. We will stop at Castani, another one from the beaches where “Mama Mia” was photographed and we will reach Limonari.
For the third night we are with our hosts from the apartments in Neo Klima.
Day 6: Skopelos – Tsugria Island
Once we load up on the kayaks with the luggage, we'll take to the west, to the deserted island of Tsugria. We will stop at a beautiful sandy beach, we will stop by a chapel, by the sea. Skiathos's camp.
Day 7 : Skiathos - Kukunaris
In this penultimate stage of our journey, we will move along the southern coast of Skiathos. On this side, the island is relatively flat and full of greenery. Here we will go through a series of unique sandy beaches: The most famous is Kukunaris. It is well arranged, and along the beach stretches a forest that makes a nice shade. Behind it is a lake and countless rare birds. Next door is Banana Beach. Mega Yalos Bay is a favorite place of adventurers, nudists, divers ... in love. This part is more civilized and... commercial.
8th day: Skiathos - Sofia
After waking up, we will have time to refresh ourselves on the beach. Rowing to the mainland will take no more than an hour. Around noon we will be ready to travel to Sofia ...
Arrival in Sofia – about 21 hours.
