Peloponnese — Grand Tour (June)

About This Adventure

A 9-day sea kayaking expedition along the dramatic Peloponnese coastline. Ancient ruins, crystal-clear waters, charming fishing villages, and some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in all of Greece.

Program

June 13 (Day 1): Beginning of the adventure. 🚙
We leave at 4:30 a.m. from Sofia. We travel through Larissa to Mycenae and Nafplio. We envisage a stop to explore Mycenae – the citadel that laid the foundations of Greek culture. In the evening we stay at a campsite near Nafplio.
📍 June 14 – 15: Nafplio and Epidaurus. 🛶
A row in the Argolic Bay, we bypass the Burdzi Island Fortress and explore the “old city.” We will also visit the ancient theater in Epidaurus, known for its amazing acoustics.
📍 16 – 17 June: Island treasures. 🏝️
We travel to Monemvasia – a medieval city-fortress in which time has stopped. Next is Elafonissos: turquoise waters, tropical sand and kayaking over the remains of a submerged ancient city.
📍 June 18 – 19: Methoni and Pylos. 🌅
Panoramic trip to the southern fortresses. We will see unique rock arches, caves and Venetian architecture in Methoni as the sun sinks into the sea.
📍 June 20: The finale of the gods. 💙
Paddle through the Strait of Sfactiria to the fortress of Navarino and the mythical beach of Voydokiliya. In the Divari reserve, we'll be looking for flamingos. Overnight in a hotel on the beach after Patras.
📍 June 21 (Day 9): Homecoming. 🚙
We start preparations for departure at 8:30 a.m. We plan to return to Sofia around 18:0

What's NOT Included in the Price

Transport: Carpooling (~2600 km + tolls): 160 €
• Nights: 6 camping (~15 €/night) + 2 in hotel/house: ( ~30 € per night) total about 150 €.

, good fitness, minimum age 16. Physical fitness required — expect approximately 10-16 km of kayaking per day.
